There is always a place where we can identify how black people were stolen from their homeland and sent to a place against their will. This is a highly emotional day charged with understanding identity and history of the human race. Over the course of this day we take the time to pilgrimage through a specific space and time to pause and pay homage to what was and gain the strength to forge a path ahead.
