Our fashion influencer

Nichole M. Bess, a globally recognized fashion industry leader and the Founder of Noir Fashion Week, embarked on her fashion public relations career in New York alongside industry pioneers such as Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons and supermodel Naomi Campbell through NC Connect. With two decades of experience, her remarkable achievements have earned her recognition in prestigious publications, including Forbes, Essence, and Impact, to name a few. Her work has also been featured in Entrepreneur, Vogue, Italian Vogue, CNN, Ebony, 106 & Park, CBS, and Cosmopolitan, among others.

Her passion for making entrepreneurs’ dreams come true has been both fulfilling and gratifying. In 2022, Ms. Bess shifted her focus by launching NOIR FASHION WEEK, a groundbreaking traveling fashion week production. NFW’s mission is to empower BIPOC designers by facilitating their access to sustainable resources and global opportunities for long-term success. Each season, this platform has provided a stage for over 35 BIPOC designers in the heart of Soho, New York. Notably, NFW has captured the attention of leading global industry figures, the media, and investors, poised to become a dominant force in the industry with its innovative approach to inclusion.

In addition to her work with NFW, Ms. Bess introduced her first We Belong Here Global Master Class in Paris, France, in September 2023. This initiative aims to propel the careers of emerging BIPOC designers through an international master class program held in the enchanting city of Paris. This foundation encompasses areas of higher education, capital, and mentorship, reflecting Ms. Bess’s commitment to implementing creative strategies that drive progression in the fashion industry.
