Travel & Invest Africa Membership (TIAM) is an online investor education platform teaching about emerging startup markets in Nigeria, Kenya, and Central America. Primarily focused on West Africa, TIAM educates members about local business culture and then educates them on investment opportunities focused on four sectors. They include agriculture, manufacturing, blockchain/crypto/web3, and real estate. TIAM is dedicated to educating new and seasoned black investors about the business climate in each country, their government policies that support the “ease of business” and the opportunity to foster impact and innovation across the industry interest areas. The TIAM membership is NOT an investment vehicle. TIAM provides access to information and educates members about investment opportunities in the emerging markets.
The Travel & Invest Africa team is responsible for sourcing, educating, and presenting information on African-owned startups. Members will be presented with the information in an electronic format (email, newsletter, private online video portal, LIVE virtual meetings).TIAM members must be presented with 16 startups annually.
Although TIAM is not an investment vehicle, TIAM networks with startups looking for investments ranging $10,000 – $500,000.
